Who we are
This website belongs to Nova + Melior, a marketing studio based in the United Kingdom. Nova + Melior is a trading name of [LEGAL NAME AND ADDRESS TO BE ADDED].
We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@nova-melior.co.uk.
What we collect
This site has no forms, accounts or tracking. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us by email, usually your name, email address, company and the details of your project.
Like every website, the company that hosts it (Cloudflare) briefly processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type, so it can deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
How we use it
We use what you send us only to reply, to discuss and quote for work, and to deliver that work if we go ahead together. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps towards a contract you have asked for.
We never sell your information or add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Our email provider stores the messages we send and receive.
Both may process data outside the UK. When they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for up to 12 months, then delete them. For clients, we keep project correspondence for as long as needed to provide the work and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. It stores one small setting in your browser’s local storage, recording that you have seen the opening animation, so it does not play again on later visits. The setting contains no personal information, is never sent to us or anyone else, and stays until you clear your browser’s site data.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- see the information we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- limit how we use it
- send it to you or someone else
You can also object to how we use it. Email us and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
